Our Story
In 1993 Captains Ron Charlesworth, Jack Going, and Steve Ware, then serving as San Francisco Bar Pilots, pursuing additional challenges, left that organization and purchased Bay & Delta Towing. The company is a privately owned corporation, which had been serving the San Francisco Bay Area since 1982.
The firm since renamed Baydelta Maritime to recognize expanded areas of activity, continues to offer ship assist, petroleum escort and general towing services throughout the San Francisco Bay area and offshore assignments.
In July 2019, Baydelta Maritime expanded operations to LA/ Long Beach harbors.
